Time Again to Stuff Some Turkeys and Deck Some Halls...With the holiday season right around the corner, kinship families, and the Rose House staff are preparing for the upcoming celebrations. The holiday season is a time to appreciate family and friends, express our gratitude and celebrate! The Rose House is actively working to ensure that all of our kinship families and children are able to participate and enjoy traditional holiday festivities. Unfortunately, the holiday season can be a stressful time for many relative caregivers. Thousands of caregivers struggle throughout the year to meet the needs of the children and family, often on a fixed income or retirement. The holiday season can be particularly stressful. Many caregivers worry they will not be able to provide the children with a Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas gift. The Rose House staff would like to invite our friends and neighbors to join us in our commitment to ensure the holiday dreams of kinship children are not overlooked. The Rose House will be accepting contributions towards holiday food baskets and gifts for children/youth.
